We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Person to join our team at All Services Property Maintenance. Responsibilities include

  • Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, retrofits or other tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer/ Lead
  • Hand in a safe manner within shop practices and hotel standards
  • Monitors and maintains all building systems
  • Maintains exterior grounds and safe passageways for all guests and associates
  • Process work orders as assigned
  • Is a member of the crisis response team
  • Maintains Maintenance shop and inventory
  • Maintains exterior grounds and safe passageways for all guests and staff
  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service and leads by example
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
    Contributes to a healthy and safe work environment by reporting all safety hazards, following WHMIS and Fire safety training, and working in a safe manner.
  • Consistently practices guest and associate privacy and security
  • At all times projects a favorable image of All Services Property Maintenance to the public
  • Consistently demonstrate our All Services Property Maintenance values – Engagement, Quality, Performance, Growth and Integrity
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Preferred Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a general Maintenance environment
  • Electrical, plumbing and HVAC experience an asset
  • Previous preventative maintenance program experience an asset
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment an asset
    Energetic and flexible, able to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Able to take initiative, follow timelines and meet deadlines Positive, professional demeanor
  • Self-motivated, capable of working in a team environment
    First Aid, WHMIS, an asset
